WOOP! Last year I won my first ever competition with my story, Roll of Honour, in the Lest We Forget category of the Canadian Stories Magazine's literary contest. So I entered again this year in a different category, and just received this email from the magazine's managing editor, Ed Janzen:
"Hey Chuck...
Guess what?
You won again.
With
"The Thing About Pantyhose"
in Creative Non-Fiction.
One judge noted she loved the story.
A cheque will be wending its way to you ASAP as well as a framable certificate to hang on your (cluttered?) wall.
Are you coming to the August convention and telling us how you do it?
Ed"
I'm just a little pumped!!!
That's eight of my stories to be published this year.

Charlie Smithers & Twisted Tails - Links for June
Wow! May was quite a month!! June certainly has its work cut out for it, if it hopes to keep up, and one less day to do it in, too!
The views for this page last month were virtually identical to the month before, which is really, really great! This month should be even better, what with another book to push and all (ahem!). So without further ado, for your shopping leisure, here are the links for Charlie Smithers and Twisted Tails.
